Become
a Friend of the West Country Historic Omnibus and Transport Trust. WHOTT has
been registered as a charity and a company limited by guarantee in order to
establish a West Country museum devoted to commercial passenger and goods
transport and to provide educational and research opportunities and public
access to the vehicle and archive collection being brought together.
Friends of WHOTT, who make a minimum donation of £17 per annum, receive a
quarterly Newsletter
and are kept informed directly about Trust developments and activities.
Donations cover WHOTT's running costs and ongoing
projects, such as paint and materials for vehicle restoration, material for displays, etc. The Trust has registered for Gift
Aid to maximise the return on donations. WHOTT's business plan sets out the need
for substantial funds to cover the permanent museum and the flow of donations
provides an important demonstration of the strength of support for the
Trust
objectives against which matching funding can be raised. We would therefore
urge you to give generously to make the museum a reality as soon as possible.
Unfortunately we are not yet able to receive funds by credit card, so we should
be grateful if donations could be sent by cheque to the WHOTT registered office,
c/o Kalmia, Church Road, Colaton Raleigh, Devon EX10 0LW.
