WHOTT RALLY

WHOTT will be holding its tenth rally at the Devon County Showground, Westpoint, nr Exeter on

Sunday 16th September 2012

We are pleased to invite you to this event which is being held for the tenth year at the superb site of the annual Devon County Show. The location is easy to reach; as it adjoins the A3052 Exeter to Sidmouth road and is only a short distance from Junction 30 of the M5 motorway. The A30 and A38 roads converge nearby and a frequent Stagecoach bus service from Exeter serves the entrance to the Westpoint complex. On site there is plenty of car parking space adjoining the rally and catering and toilet facilities will be available. Rally visitors will be able to sample rides on heritage buses and coaches both on the extensive internal roadway and on bus tours outside the site; taking a trip to Exeter Bus Station on a scheduled service using vintage buses.

Owners of historic buses, coaches and lorries will be most welcome and overnight parking is available, by prior arrangement, for those who require it. This year is the anniversary of several transport landmarks and any vehicles with a West Country connection will be especially welcome.

As in previous years, there will be a range of sales stands selling a variety of transport related items and a WHOTT stall will offer a variety of publications and photographs with West Country links - see WHOTT Shop

If you are the owner of an historic bus, coach, lorry, van or other vehicle, you are warmly invited to complete the appropriate entry form and send it to us as soon as possible to ensure inclusion in the event programme and rally plaque or for a sales space to be allocated.
